About the Clarkston Scholars Program

The Clarkston Scholars Program is designed to support a first-generation college student who has demonstrated academic success, financial need, and an interest in consulting or one of the industries Clarkston Consulting serves.

The program goes beyond providing financial assistance. The selected Clarkston Scholar will have access to a mentorship program with Clarkston Consulting representatives, providing an opportunity to learn about the professional world and develop their strengths and interests.

Scholarship Benefits

The selected student will receive:

  • $10,000 total scholarship funding
  • $5,000 per year for the student’s junior and senior years
  • Mentorship with Clarkston Consulting professionals
  • Networking opportunities through Clarkston’s steward and client network
  • Exposure to the professional consulting environment
  • Opportunities to further develop professional strengths and interests

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Clarkston Scholars Program, applicants must:

  • Be a college sophomore at an accredited institution.
  • Be a first-generation college student.
  • Demonstrate financial need based on the EFC number from FAFSA.
  • Demonstrate an interest in consulting and/or the consumer products, life sciences, or retail industries.
  • Not be related to any current or former Clarkston Consulting employees.
  • Be willing to participate in the Clarkston Scholars mentorship program.
  • Commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to the mentorship program.

Mentorship Program

The Clarkston Scholar will participate in a mentorship program with representatives from Clarkston Consulting.

The mentorship requires approximately 1–2 hours per month and is intended to provide students with professional exposure while helping them better understand and develop their strengths and interests.

January 7, 2027
